Why we built 1stClassPimp
The browser RPGs we grew up on are gone. We missed them. So we built one.
The browser RPGs that taught us what “one more turn” felt like are mostly gone. The handful still running are frozen in 2011 — great mechanics, impossible UX, broken on mobile.
We wanted to build the one we’d play every day. So here we are.
What we care about
- Mobile-first. Most of us play in 5-minute bursts on a phone. The game has to respect that.
- No pay-to-win. Cosmetics, convenience, and a season pass. That’s it.
- Server-authoritative. Every outcome is decided on our servers with a seed we log. Replay any fight, any crime, any time.
- Weekly resets. The leaderboard means something again.
What’s next
The closed alpha is rolling out this summer. The waitlist is open on the homepage. First 500 sign-ups get the Founder’s Badge, a permanent cosmetic flair that’s never returning to the store.
